Where we are now
Thirty-two years after the UK Equal Pay Act and twenty-seven years after the Sex Discrimination Act, executive women have come a long way. Women are increasingly attaining influential positions in the corporate environment. However there is still a long way to go. Gender stereotyping, preconceptions based on gender and outright discrimination have not yet been wiped out. Why are there still so few women at the top of large organisations?
